In your opinion, what are the roles of technology in times like a pandemic?
There are huge impact of this kind of pandemic to us. Our environment we used to live in where we can just normally walk around, talk and buy some essentials to malls or market without thinking that there is a big possibility to be infected by this virus. Nowadays, technology plays the main roles of everything, back then technology became the center of everyone else’s lives ’til now, it became more important to us. Technology made us believe the new normal we are living right now.
In communication, since then technology introduced us this communication. We cannot talk to any people right now, not healthy for us. We can just text or call our love ones. New learning happened through technology, our needs in our daily lives, technology supplies most things we needed.

Online learning is a big adjustment for all teachers, students and parents. Let’s accept the fact that this helped us for creating a new normal but not all can adapt to this. For the last weeks I’ve encountered this online learnings I experienced a lot of struggles and problems, unstable connections and such. I believe, each students has their own learning style some may learn, some cannot. But as I go on, and as this learning continue hoping to learn more and no one will be left behind.
My role as a student of SMC is to do every task in their scheduled due date. Cooperate with teachers so no more problems will be encountered.
The result of the past survey, it says that I am somehow do manage my time appropriately and somehow not. I don’ know if it is that accurate or not but I know I do every task right before the said due date. I am truly a procastinator, I’m not proud about it and I’m willing to change to become a better one. I sometimes do some entertainments before doing the task, beforehand I make sure I made a mental note about the due dates and time I need to consume in doing those tasks, I am also thinking plans, designs or answers while playing games or watching movie or series. I make myself had fun first and do the rest when my mind is ready to do so.
